Onboarding: Handover Materials
The Onboarder should create a Customer Handover document detailing how a customer will manage their unique site features.
Note: This article is for Nyla onboarding partners.
However, if you're a customer going through a current onboarding, might find this article useful to understand what you should expect in terms of handover materials to inform you how to manage your site.
Now the site has been fully configured, it's time to prepare handover materials so that customers can successfully manage the features and site-specific configuration that you have created for them.
While Nyla's Knowledge Base provides how-tos for managing platform features, often times a Nyla site will have unique configuration.
It's the Onboarding Build Partner's responsibility to outline the management of these features, which may include things like the following;
- Overrides
- Conditional visibility
- Metafield management
- Management of features
- etc
The Onboarder should gather these unique instructions into a document for the customer, which they share as part of the Site Transition meeting. The customer can then reference these materials for their upcoming Customer QA and Content Entry deliverables, as well as for future site management.
