Use Elevar with Nyla
In order to activate Elevar you need to:
- Perform some initial setup steps in Elevar directly
- Enable the app in Nyla, entering the Id
- Save and publish the app
- Enable the Google Tag Manager app in Nyla, entering in the GTM Container ID that was configured in Elevar

By activating the Elevar app on Nyla, Elevar will track the following events:
- Page view (dl_user_data)
- Product view (dl_view_item)
- Product impressions (dl_view_item_list)
- Search results (dl_view_search_results)
- Add to cart (dl_add_to_cart)
- Remove from cart (dl_remove_from_cart)
- Cart view (dl_view_cart)
- Account login (dl_login)
- Account sign up (dl_sign_up)
- Product click (dl_select_item)
Nyla doesn't touch checkout, so to make sure your checkout steps are tracked as expected, be sure to set this up independently with Elevar. Any of other steps as part of the Elevar onboarding process and setup need to be completed in Elevar too. If you have any questions on this step, we’d recommend to reach out to the Elevar team.
Important: Don't forget to enable the Google Tag Manager app in Nyla. This is required in order for the Elevar-configured GTM container to be able to fire.
Adding Non-Shopify Subdomains and getting the Id:
1. From Elevar app on Shopify go to My Tracking, and click on Add Non-Shopify Subdomains
2. Click on Get Started, then make sure the Overarching domain is the same as your store's domain, and click Save & Continue.
3. In the Prepare Your Pages step, find the only URL in the code and copy the ID between 'configs/' and '/configs.js'
4. Click on Mark as Complete
5. Paste the ID from step 3 in Nyla's ID field
