Install Zendesk on your Nyla site

Adding Zendesk enables messaging and live chat to your website or mobile app.


To add Zendesk to your site, you should:

  • Activate the app using the correct api-key
  • Publish the app and wait 15-20 minutes 
  • The chat widget will appear on all pages once the app is activated and the publish has completed. You might need to refresh the Nyla editor once the publish is done in order to see the chat widget. 

Activating Zendesk: 


Zendesk has the following activation settings: 

Chat api key:
  1. Open the Zendesk app from the Shopify admin panel.
  2. Check the bar at the top, click on products icons, a dropdown will appear with different options.
  3. Click on Chat
  4. Web widget -> Manage web widget
  5. Edit web widget
  6. Click on Installation tab
  7. There you can find the api key for the chat, after where it says "Key="
