Types
Shopify Sources
Shopify sources directly link Nyla to your Shopify content. This gives you access to the properties, objects, and other functionality specific to this source type.
There are a couple of key interactions that happen automatically with Shopify sources:
Products
- The product.media array is filtered when a user selects a specific variant of the product. This happens automatically.
App sources
When enabled, many apps will add Sources, Properties, and Actions to your site. You can refer to Apps to see what additional items are added for each app.
It is important to note that many app link actions will only work within the app source itself. Using them outside if the source will not have any effect.
Adding sources
To add a source to your page, select it from the add content block menu. Once a source is added, you can configure the settings and what specific content will be displayed.
Source settings
Some sources have unique settings that allow you to configure the way that the pull data. These settings include, but are not limited to:
Source management
Product and Collection sources allow you to select the specific product or collection to connect with.
Filter
Display a limited subset of data from your source. Filtering a source is only possible with Source type: Model
Exclude
Exclude specific content from your source, for example if you want to load related products on a product page but want to ensure that the product is not shown in the list, you can exclude it from the collection.
