Onboarding Requirements Sign Off
Once Design is approved, the Onboarder closes the project scope by confirming how the designs will function and be managed with the customer.
✅ Process
With the Design Process complete with an approved design, the Onboarder will schedule a Requirements Sign Off call with the customer.
They'll prepare an Implementation Details doc and review it with the customer on this call, discussing the following about each section used in the approved design;
- section type; hero, columns, text, slider, etc.
- page its used on
- if the media/text is sourced or overridable
- if it's video compatible and if so, required video configuration
- if it has a link/hover effect
- how it's editable and if it has overrides
- section visibility
- customer content entry and/or site management notes
This meeting is the designated final opportunity for the Onboarder to ensure the customer is clear on the project scope by discussing the function of each section.
Approval
The Onboarder solicits written Requirements Sign Off approval from the customer on the Implementation Details doc.
Once it's approved, the requirements are considered locked and the Build Phase is ready to begin.
