      Add product finder quizzes with Octane AI

      Nyla integrates out of the box with Octane AI's product quiz functionality as follows:

      • In a location of your choosing, the Octane AI product quiz will appear
      • End users will be able to go through the quiz, and see recommended products on reaching the end of the quiz
      • If you have the correct plan, your customers can add to cart directly from the quiz on your Nyla site

      Important:

      Currently, Octane AI only enables add to cart for headless sites on their highest plan. Some customers have had any extra fee vs their current plan waived upon request to their team. 

      In order for add to cart to work with the Nyla and Octane AI integration, you need to update the Add to cart behavior settings in the Octane AI app. You can do this by: 

      • Within the app, navigate to the Quiz you want to edit
      • Edit > Settings > Add to cart behavior > Octane AI will not add products to the cart. (Advanced)

      Activating Octane AI

      1. Install the official Octane AI Shopify app into Shopify and create a quiz
      2. In Nyla, navigate to Apps and locate the Octane AI app. Enable the app + add the Bot ID.

        To find the Bot ID, you need to access the Octane AI website and log in to your account.

        Once you have logged in to your account, your Bot ID will be in the URL: https://app.octaneai.com/dashboard/b/[your-bot-id]/home 

      3. Save, queue and publish your change.
      4. Go in the Editor to the page you want to insert your quiz and add the Octane AI content item to your page + add the Quiz ID in the content item:

        To find the Quiz ID, you need to access the Octane AI website and log in to your account.

        Once you have logged in to your account, your Quiz ID will be in the URL: https://app.octaneai.com/dashboard/b/[your-bot-id]/quiz/[your-quiz-id]/stats 

        Provided that you have entered the app settings correctly, your quiz should show up. If you have activated the correct add to cart settings in the Octane AI app, add to cart will also work once the content item has been added to your page.

      5. Save, queue and publish.
