Nyla automates best practices for heading level for web content, ensuring that headings are used in a way that respects and enhances the content's structure and meaning.

Following best practices for headings means that search engines will be able to easily understand the hierarchy of your document, which helps to optimize for SEO. This structured approach helps maintain clarity and order in your content, making it more accessible to users and search engines alike.

Nyla's Algorithm

Nyla's algorithm for SEO headings make this process automated and removes manual error from following best practices.

  • The first heading found in the first section in the main content of the page (i.e. not in the header, footer or cart) is an <h1>. This makes sure there's only one<h1> on a page.
  • For each section in the main content of the document (ignoring header/footer/cart):
    • The first heading is an <h2>, the next heading is an <h3> and so on through <h6>
    • Any heading after that is a normal paragraph tag (<p>)
